Tucked between a eucalyptus forest and the sparkling Lake Miramar rests the charming community of Scripps Ranch. E.W. Scripps in the famous newspaperman founded this community after falling in love with at the time was called a treeless, and barren piece of land.

It’s safe to say that E.W. Scripps made the right decision in continuing to pour into the community and help make it what it is today. Located just northeast of San Diego with a population of around 32,000, Scripps Ranch has low crime, successful businesses, and some of the best schools. The community is a strongly desired place to call home with houses steadily increasing in value year after year.
