Peñasquitos Casablanca Real Estate History
Originally known as Rancho Peñasquitos and inhabited by the Kumeyaay tribe. Established in the first Mexican land grant of San Diego County.
Rancho Peñasquitos developed by Captain Francisco Maria Ruiz as a working cattle ranch who built its adobe home in 1823. Back then, considered the first residential structure in San Diego.
After changing ownership many times, the Peñasquitos Corporation purchased the land in 1962.
