Big Block LPT Realty is excited to announce an important leadership update for our California agents: Kim McKeag is the new California Broker of Record for Big Block LPT Realty.
For many members of the Big Block community, Kim is already a familiar name and face.
Kim previously served as our broker for many years at Big Block Realty, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to work with her again. She brings extensive brokerage experience, a strong understanding of real estate compliance, and valuable familiarity with our agents and organization.
As Big Block continues to grow and evolve, having experienced brokerage leadership is incredibly important. We’re thrilled to welcome Kim back and look forward to this next chapter.
A Familiar Face Returns to Big Block
Real estate is a relationship business.
The people you work with matter. Trust matters. Experience matters. And when it comes to brokerage leadership and compliance, having someone who understands the business and the needs of agents can make a major difference.
That is one of the reasons we’re so excited about Kim stepping into the California Broker of Record role.
Kim spent many years serving as our broker at Big Block Realty. During that time, she gained significant experience working with the types of transactions, situations, questions, and compliance issues that real estate professionals encounter every day.
More importantly, she already understands the Big Block community.
That familiarity provides a strong foundation as she takes on her new role with Big Block LPT Realty.
For agents who have worked with Kim in the past, we’re excited to welcome back someone you may already know and trust. For agents who haven’t had the opportunity to work with her yet, we’re excited for you to get to know her.
Experience Matters in a Fast-Moving Real Estate Business
Real estate transactions move quickly.
Agents are constantly balancing clients, contracts, negotiations, deadlines, inspections, disclosures, marketing, prospecting, and dozens of other responsibilities.
At the same time, every transaction needs to be handled professionally and in accordance with brokerage policies and applicable requirements.
That makes strong communication between agents and brokerage leadership extremely important.
Questions come up.
Situations change.
Transactions don’t always go according to plan.
When something needs broker attention, agents need to know exactly where to go and how to communicate with the brokerage.
Kim brings years of brokerage experience to the role, along with a history of working with Big Block agents. We believe that combination of experience and familiarity will be valuable as we continue supporting our California agent community.
We’re excited to work with her again.
IMPORTANT COMPLIANCE UPDATE FOR ALL CALIFORNIA AGENTS
Along with announcing Kim as our new California Broker of Record, there is an important operational change that every California Big Block LPT Realty agent needs to make immediately.
All California broker communications must now be sent to:
Please save this email address and update your contacts immediately.
Going forward, this is the email address that should be used for California broker communications.
Please do NOT send broker communications to:
Agents should also avoid sending broker communications to any other previous or outdated Big Block broker email addresses.
This change is important.
Using an old email address could result in your communication not reaching the appropriate brokerage team or create unnecessary delays in getting your matter addressed.
The simplest solution is to make the update right now.
Delete the old email addresses from your contacts, remove them from any saved templates, and pay particular attention to your email application’s autofill feature.
From this point forward, remember one email:
Why Updating Your Saved Contacts Matters
Email autofill is convenient until it sends an important message to an outdated address.
If you have been with Big Block for a long time, there is a good chance your email application remembers previous broker email addresses.
You may type “broker” into the recipient field and automatically select an address you’ve used dozens of times before without noticing that it is no longer the correct address.
That is exactly what we want agents to avoid.
Take a minute today to search your saved contacts and remove outdated broker email addresses.
If you have personal transaction checklists, email templates, internal documents, bookmarks, or other systems that contain the old broker email, update those as well.
If your team has an operations manager, transaction coordinator, assistant, or other team members who may communicate with the brokerage, make sure they are aware of the new email address too.
The goal is simple: all California broker communications should go to the correct place every time.
Clear Communication Helps Everyone
Compliance isn’t just about checking boxes.
Clear systems and communication help protect transactions, clients, agents, and the brokerage.
When agents know exactly where to send broker communications, it creates a more consistent process and helps the brokerage team manage requests effectively.
That’s especially important when dealing with time-sensitive real estate transactions.
A question that seems small can become much more important when there is a contract deadline, disclosure issue, negotiation, or other transaction-related matter involved.
Rather than trying to remember which previous email address to use, California agents now have one clear destination for broker communications:
Save it.
Use it.
And make sure everyone on your team who needs it has the updated information.
Moving Forward Together
Big Block has always been built around supporting entrepreneurial real estate professionals, and strong brokerage leadership is an important part of that mission.
As our organization continues to grow, we want agents to have clear systems, strong resources, and experienced people they can rely on.
Welcoming Kim McKeag as our California Broker of Record is an exciting step forward.
Kim’s previous experience with Big Block Realty means she brings not only brokerage knowledge but also an understanding of our history and agent community.
We’re excited about what comes next and grateful to have her back working alongside our California agents.
Please join us in welcoming Kim McKeag back to Big Block.
And most importantly, make sure you complete the compliance update below today.
